There is a 70's LP that is still sealed I saw at a record store but has a corner cut and I left it but now am thinking I should have bought it but the beautiful cover was corner cut.

Aug 18,  · However, if there's a scratch, and it's deep enough, I think you pretty much gotta listen to some scratch. I have a couple of albums that appear to be in near mint condition, with no obvious scratches, and they are noisier than some much older LP's I own. I assume that can be marked down to poor pressing and possibly poor vinyl.

Sep 26,  · You can leave your record on your turntable overnight. To see if the wood glue is dry, you can gently touch the outer edge of the glue with your finger. If it still feels sticky, let it sit for more hours and try again. You can also leave your record on a piece of newspaper to dry if you do not use a turntable.

I've got an LP with a little scratch thru one of the tracks; I'm pretty sure there's no way of removing the scratch (am I wrong?) the scratch drags the record back so it keeps repeating a little phrase over and over - could you potentially put a litle cract going across it the other way so it still skipd a little, but he record doesn't keep repeating and jumps forward a bit?
