The Best of The Yardbirds - Shapes Of Things James McCarty. out of 5 stars Audio CD. Good Morning Little Schoolgirl. I recall Keith Relf's vocals on the singles in the 60s and thought I'd try a 'best of' CD. The studio recordings are very good but the live tracks are poorly recorded and could have been left off this re-issue/5(49).

This is another of the ubiquitous Yardbirds compilations to utilize the band's output, what are referred to informally as the Giorgio Gomelsky tapes (referring to their ex-manager, though he sold his rights to this material off decades ago). As a compilation, it's mainly distinguished by its relatively good sound -- they've gone to good tape sources -- and their willingness to.
